First of all, you will have to decide which page on your website should be crawled by google. After deciding it, choose which sitemap format you want to use.But here i would like to tell you that Sitemap format for a blogger is XML sitemap it helps search engine crawler to find out all the URLs on your website and add it to their database.

If your website is very new and you wants to submit sitemap file for your website then you can use first sitemap list which is given on this page.sometimes owner of website thinks that if number of the blog posts excess by 500 then what i have to do for my blog.If this sitution will occur then you can use second sitemap list.
The process of submitting a sitemap for blogger:
Very first sign in your Google Webmasters tools Account”
After sign in your Google webmaster tools, you will see Search Console items”
Now click on “Add A Property” to submit a sitemap”
Now Enter your Website Url
Click on the left side of the page, sitemap under crawl section”
When you will click on sitemap then you will see click on Add/Test Sitemap button.
Click on Add/Test Sitemap button and enter your sitemap file.
Refresh your browser to see your new sitemap in the sitemaps list
After Submit the Sitemap you can check your Sitemap Status by click on “Sitemaps” shown in image above.
Click on the new sitemap in the sitemap list to open the Sitemaps Details page and investigate any errors or warnings about the sitemap or the URLs it contains.
It will take some time before Google can process a sitemap that you have submitted. Note that Google can’t promise to crawl or index every URL in your sitemap because we rely on complex algorithms to make crawling decisions.
After doing the whole task you can test your sitemap file using the Search Console Sitemaps testing tool.
- Click Add/Test Sitemap on the report landing page.
- Enter the URL of the sitemap in the dialog that appears, and click Test.
- When the test is completed, click Open Test Results to check for errors. Fix your errors.
- After you fix your errors, can click Submit Sitemap.
